Are they cloned...???
March, march, march.....they all marched in the same direction, away from me as soon as they saw me coming closer with my camera and they were so cute, everyone looked the same. I asked myself, are they real or are they maybe cloned?....*smile*....(click in the picture to see it bigger)
Hi my friends,
It was a nice and warmer day again in the 70's. We've decided to take a walk at the beach, after sitting for some days in the house. I liked these cute birds so much, because they looked so funny with their hairdo (in the wind) and their colorful yellow beaks.
It was good - for both of us - to breath some fresh sea air after hubby was so sick for some days - and he is still coughing so much. Fresh air is always good for the lungs.
Tomorrow will be my "Wordless Sunday" again. I would love to see you visiting my little blog tomorrow too.
Thank you also for all the kind and wonderful comments and compliments.
Love you all!
Susanne

Two days at the beach
Coming from Corpus Christi, you'll be entering the Islands, first Padre Island and then take a left to Mustang Island - that's what we did
We were not the only one parked out here, everywhere were also big buses to see. On Mustang Island and at Port Aransas is actually allowed to park RV's directly on the beach, even over night, if you have a permit from the city
The sound of the rolling waves were very loud - but it was beautiful to listen to the melody of the waves!
Port Aransas is getting ready for next week starting spring breakers - thousands of students will probably overflow the island and this pretty little town and at the beachBeautiful beaches, vibrant views, relaxing retreats. Enjoy shimmering sunrises over the Texas Gulf Coast and serene evenings on the bay. Port Aransas is the premier vacation destination for beach, sun and family fun! Wiggle your toes in the sand! Reel in a redfish, captain a kayak, search for seashells, birdwatch, shop coastal stores and dine in island style restaurants. Our tranquil, tropical community boasts miles of natural beaches, gentle gulf breezes and just-right weather making our island a perfect, peaceful get away. Get close to the water and away from the crowds. Stay for a weekend or a week in choice accommodations -from quaint cottages to beachfront condos and RV parks to camp grounds. Visit Port Aransas on Mustang Island and enjoy the unspoiled beauty of Texas~Island Style!

Morning Walk at Folly Beach
This six-mile-long by half-mile-wide stretch of sandy beach sports condos, a fishing pier, and loads of history.
In the 1930s, the giant pier and pavilion (later destroyed by fire) rose to fame for billing such big-name acts as Tommy Dorsey, Artie Shaw, the Ink Spots, and Guy Lombardo. Gershwin fans may be interested to know that George and Ira composed "Porgy and Bess" while staying on the beach. Although fire wiped out most of the beach's historical structures, the area is still a popular draw for surfers, picnickers, anglers, and sunbathers, and it offers a pleasant retreat from harried site-seeing for the brain-tired traveler.

Seagulls, waiting for food

Ocean Diners
They open up their beaks and throats
For breakfast off the back of boats.
Some take a dip and dive for brunch,
Some join the passengers for lunch-
Or swoop in low for sneak attacks
On things like peanut butter snacks.
And when they're in a hungry mood,
Sea gulls love your finger food!

Five things to do in Key West - Tour 4
Today we are visiting the wildlife of Key West. Yes, we have one...! Take your camera and follow me:
You will discover a typically - lazy - cat on Simonton Street....
You will meet the sophisticated cats - some with six toes - in the garden of Ernest Hemingway's house...
Please don't disturb this pelican at Mallory Square....
And you will be wondering why are all over and every where you go so many roosters and his chickens around you. Many, many, many years ago they used them for fights. No more today. Since then they are wild living and took over the island.
