Don't be dismayed by good-byes. A farewell is necessary before you can meet again. And meeting again, after moments or lifetimes, is certain for those who are friends.

I was a day ago walking around with my camera in the picturesque lanes of Charleston's Down Town. It was probably for the last time and I took the chance to say a quiet "Good Bye" to all the lovely and pretty places, before we will be leaving this wonderful town.
I don't like to go away from here because I know, I will miss all this beauty of the Southern lifestyle and hospitality!
I will miss also all the historical places and corners, all the big and impressive houses and the stories behind!
And I will miss also all the many beautiful galleries where we spent many hours looking to the great art of artists from and about "The Lowcountry" here in South Carolina. Yes, Charleston is magic, Charleston is beautiful and Charleston will have always a special place in my heart!
This is just one of many pretty houses there in McClellanville with the charming architecture of the South
This is just one of those many churches also in McClallenville, but I liked this one the best: the Episcopal Church that is built under a majestic shady big and old oak tree
A dream of every kid is to have a REAL tree house
There is no better place to watch the boats going in and out to the harbor
A beautiful house, a nice sculpture and wonderful cypress trees in this pretty garden, also on Meeting Street

Spanish MossSpanish Moss
Let go darlin’
I can feel the night wind call
Guess I’d better go
I like you more than half as much
As I love your spanish moss
Spanish moss hangin’ down
Lofty as the southern love we’ve found
Spanish moss
Keeps on followin’ my thoughts around
Georgia pine and ripple wine
Memories of savannah summertime
Spanish moss
Wish you knew what I was sayin’
So I’m rollin’ north thinkin’
Of the way things might have been
If she and I could have changed it all somehow
Spanish moss hangin’ down
Lofty as the sycamore you’ve found
Spanish moss
Keeps on followin’ my thoughts around
Georgia pine and ripple wine
Kisses mixed with moonshine and red clay
Spanish moss
Wish you knew what I was sayin’
So I’m rollin’ north thinkin’
Of the way things might have been
If she and I could have changed it all somehow
Let go darlin’
I can feel the night wind call
The devil take the cost
I like the way your kisses flow and I love your spanish moss
