I'm back blogging again...

Hi my friends,

This new year started out not that good for me. My new laptop what I bought 2 months ago went "black"...and, as the French always use to say when they play Roulette at the Casinos: "rien-ne-vas-plus"!.... or with other words: it died! 

And this happened on a Wednesday, of course! It was short before weekend too and the technicians don't work over weekends! The computer guy came on Monday, built in a new motherboard, but still nothing, no movements at all, still a black screen! Later, after almost 2 hrs talking with a software engineer far away in India somewhere, it started finally working again - yeah!! 

And the best of all of this is, that all my photo files could be saved and didn't get lost - because that was my biggest fear and concern! Lucky me...!!! :-)

Now everything is working fine and as you can see:  I'm posting again and I hope you'll enjoy it.

Hi my friends,

I'm a BIG cat lover. This little furry fellow I have photographed out in Jetty Park's wilderness. He was a real wild cat - hungry and fully concentrated and just ready for something good to catch.... don't disturb me!

 

I could not get his attention at all, his future food was more important for him than giving me that irresistible sweet cat look in to my camera.

The launch of the Space Shuttle is postponed - again - for next Monday. They have a leak in the fuel tank and have to fix it first. Well, then NO pictures today from the last launch of the shuttle :((

Dog Days at the Beach

Hot summer days at the beach

Hi my friends,

thank you sooooooooooooo much for all your lovely comments to my moon photo from yesterday. 

I'm glad you liked my fist try to capture our "neighbor" in space. :))

Today, I dedicate this picture from a "hot summer day at the beach" to all those of you who have to sit in an office and can't go to the beach today - but you can dream about, looking to my photo, o.k.?
