Sunset at the Lake

Yesterdays sunset at Lake Washington

Hi my friends,

We drove out to Lake Washington to see the sunset.
But the sunset yesterday was not that pretty like it was last Sunday, when the sky was colored red, like on fire. Talking about fire.... can you see the smog there in the background on the right side in the picture? I don't know anything about, but it looked like a bush or forest fire or another fire, but bigger sized.

Thank you so much for your comments to my star fish photo,
it's very much appreciated.

Susanne

Different Palms than at home

Palms in sunset light on Honeymoon Island, Florida

Palms and cows around Lake Ochechobee, Florida

Palms and the beach on King George's Island, Florida

On my travels in Florida I have seen that the palm trees come in many different types then down on my island where I'm living. But they are all majestic, I love these trees.

Evening light

Evening light at the beach.
In five minutes or less the sun will be gone and the night moves in over Key West from the Atlantic.
These are the very last sunbeams in the palm crowns before it's getting darker and you will see soon the raising moon coming up on the horizon.

Boats and Golden Sunsets - Series 11

A sailing boat in a golden sunset out in Fort Zachary Taylor.

A golden star between sails

Watching the setting sun from a fishing boat.

There is no sun to see anymore - but what left is the golden glaze over the water and in the sky.

The pier, the palms and a boat - all seen only as silhouettes after this fantastic sunset.

Palmtrees in a "after a storm" evening light.

Palmtrees at Smathers Beach.

One Thing to do in Key West - Series 5

There is one thing what you never should miss in Key West: the most beautiful sunsets in the world! Like this one here:

A melting sun into the ocean - seen out in Fort Zachary Taylor.

Or take a ride with one of the sunset cruise ships leaving the harbor of Key West every evening.

Or just enjoy yourself sitting under a palmtree and watching the majestic setting sun.

Take a ride with the Seebago catamaran and capture this sunset picture with your camera.

Enjoy the sunset with a good glass of wine in your hand at the beach at Sunset Key Island.
