And the Eagle flies...

This was the first time in my life I have seen eagles flying in the wild so close. I wish, I would have had my longer 600mm lens with me to capture those "Bald Head Eagles" better! There were for sure five of them circling over my head, loud screaming - while down in the water the fisher man enjoyed the tranquility of the Cooper River and tried to catch some good pieces for his dinner.

Wonderful shots of the Eagles. You're so lucky to see them flying wild, it must have been an incredible experience.

"Where the Eagles dare".

When, and if, I get reincarnated I want to be an eagle.

And I will be flying in liberty. And if I fly low, you might be able to make a beautiful photograph of me too. But that means you would have to be around in the Swiss Alps. :-)

How great it must be to see eagles in the wild. Great shots Sue.
I'm off to a bird of prey reserve in Thirsk with a few members of my camera club next month to take some photos of eagles and such like. I'm so looking forward to it as you can get very close to them in natural suroundings. They are very well trained birds apparently.
We also have red kites living nearby to us. I've seen them a few times flying around but unfortunately i dont have a big enough lens to capture them.

Hi Peter,

I like that term "when and if"....when and if I get reincarnated I'll come back as a famous NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC photographer and will shoot the best award winning pictures from THAT eagle flying in the Swiss alps...LOL....

Thanks for commenting.

Sag mal, bist du deiner Zeit voraus und kannst in die Zukunft schauen bereits? :)
