Daisy is quite the colorful duck. I've never seen one like that before. And Tiger, what a hunter! All great shots, Sue.

This is a nice approach of combining black&white with color. I've never seen something like this before. You know I'm a B&W fan, but you're trying to pull me over the color-line... I surrender ;-) You got me to that point now !!!

Your B&W fan,

Luke Skywalker ;-)

Hi Luke

Thanks for your nice comment. I'm so surprised that you liked these B&W's with a touch of colors, but still keeping the magic of a Black and White photograph.

Welcome on the other side...!:-)

The expression on the hen's face in the last one is excellent - great job capturing it!

I like the tiger shot! It's amazing how much difference even the simple effects available with Picasa make to a picture. What would have been an average photo of a household cat becomes an engaging photo of a ferocious hunter! :)

Hi David,

I have discovered recently Picasa and I'm now a big fan of that program. And I can still do some "effects" more to it with PS if it needs at all or if I want. Picasa is easy to handle with surprising results!

I like your comment, it is true what you say! :-)

Hi Susanne. Wow, that photo reminds me of Blue Heaven! Very cool effect with b/w and color.
