Evening lights at Mallory Square

People are sitting at the pier and waiting for the sunset...

while in the mean time all the sunset cruisers are leaving the harbor.

The Liberty Clipper just finished setting up the sails

for sailing into the setting sun.
Last night was not a spectacular sunset at all, like the nights before.
The sky was free of clouds and in a cold winter color of orange and yellow.

Sea Gypsy

The Sea Gypsy

I am fevered with the sunset,
I am fretful with the bay,
For the wander-thirst is on me
And my soul is in Cathay.

There 's a schooner in the offing,
With her topsails shot with fire,
And my heart has gone aboard her
For the Islands of Desire.

I must forth again to-morrow!
With the sunset I must be
Hull down on the trail of rapture
In the wonder of the sea.

Sunset Schooner

With tall wooden masts securing their billowing sails in the breeze, the ships leisurely meander the calm waters as the sun sets. The boats are very stable and offer drinks for the duration of the sail. The crews are happy to oblige guests who want to help hoist the sails.
