Pretty close to the ground

It's pretty close....!

This is the spot where the air plains in training are landing - and also starting - to their training flights. It's impressive and also scary looking, to see them fly so close to the ground.

Patrick Air Force Base
(IATA: COF, ICAO: KCOF, FAA LID: COF)
is a United States Air Force Base located between Satellite Beach and Cocoa Beach, in Brevard County, Florida, United States. It was named in honor of Major General Mason Patrick. An Air Force Space Command (AFSPC) base, it is home to the 45th Space Wing. Additional tenant activities include the 920th Rescue Wing, the Air Force Technical Applications Center and the Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute.

Hi Susanne,

great photo, but it's also somehow a little afraid. As if the plane just crashes.

(I hope, I have spelled it correctly.)

Greetings
Yvi

Almost looks like a trick photo for a disaster movie! Don't expect to see something like that at that beach.

It's not THAT close, Marty.... it's also a little bit an optical illusion here :)
Thanks for commenting.

I think they have the calculation before did that and you too may be will have your own calculation to take the photo from the below of the flight :)but it too dangerous, of course.

amazing & beautiful photo..Sue

Of course, Murad... it is only an optical illusion, it just looks like so close to the ground. No good pilot would take such a risque - or he is not a good pilot, right? ...*smile*...

Thanks for your comment, very much appreciated!

It was also pretty close, but still far enough :)

Susanne this photo brought some sad memories from 1995 when I saw Nimrod (similar plane as on your picture) crushing into shallow waters of Lake Ontario during air show. After all this is nice photo. Thanks for sharing. Anna :)
