That Was Yesterday....

Yesterday, it was a very hot summer day afternoon and it was our anniversary day.

After visiting the art museum in Charleston (more pictures will come about that) and after a great Ice cream "snack" we decided to go out again to our preferred place at James Island. But pretty soon BIG thunderclouds were forming over our heads and wonderful dark clouds moved in from the back. I love nature spectacles like that!

I will show you more pictures from the museum and more from this spot here with jumping dolphins, big oil tankers on the water and more thunder clouds. (Maybe I should save some pics for the "Friday Sky Watch" play).. ;-)

So then my friends, just stay tuned and come back any times. Oh, by the way..... comments are welcome too! :-)

Dramaticly good picture - you can feel the nature vibrating in the sky.

Yep, it was very dramatic, Renny. Thanks for commenting.

I love photography and you have some fine pics.
Sometimes, I think taking pictures is a lost art. It's all point and click now.
Remember the days when we HAD to set the F stop, meter and ISO? lol

Those were the days... :)

Yes I do remember those days very well, when I HAD to learn to do portraits with an old 18x24" woodden camera with plan films in the back. I even remember the days to make copies of glass plate negatives.

Those were the days....yes!
Thanks for commenting bigdadgib!

Looks like a really nice rain cloud. We could use some rain. IT is so very hot here in Mississippi. The temperature with the heat index was 111 the other day. A person can barely breathe, it is so dangerously hot.

Looking forward to the dolphin pics.

Take care,
Tawnya

First thing I did observe was the face of a Lemure just where the sunshine comes through the clouds.

With other words, I agree with you:
The nature is fantastic when cloudes creates creatures....

Hi TorAa,

I have seen that face too in the clouds, like you. I love to watch stormy clouds. Thanks for commenting.
