Saturdays Rain and stormy Winds

It is not sunshine every day in paradise! Saturday we got soaked with heavy rainfall and strong winds, for hours!

But it seems, not all are scared of bad weather.

Nice. I love the bad weather. I could sit outside for as long as the bad weather would allow me. I love a good thunder and lighning storm. These are very nice pictures and it shows the fury of Mother Nature. If I could I would do nothing but run after storms and study them. It has been what I wanted to do all my life.

Hi Michele,

You will have maybe pretty soon some snow storms to enjoy up there in the Rocky's! :-)

Thank you for your comment!

Love the guy and the bicycle. Looks like you're in for stormy weather over there.

90 miles to Cuba.

Hi Oswegan,

Today (Monday)it's pretty, warm and sunshine again, happily! I don't like the bad weather to much. :-)

Thanks for your kind comment!

Wow! You did get slammed. We were spared the big storms that rolled through. We are getting a good steady rain. It is suppose to be gloomy up until Friday. But in the south that could easily change.

Take care.

Hi Titania,

Today the sun was out again and it was hot and humid, like always. Yes, it can change any time down here, in the far south.

Thank you for writing this comment!

Boy that looks miserable, especially with the palm trees being "blown away"

Hi Jenty,

yes it's amazing that these small palm trees can stand such strong winds, specially in Hurricane forced winds. Happily this was just a little storm.

Thanks for stopping by and commenting!

I love the sky on the first picture, the colors speak for themselves :)

Hopefully the storm will not be too bad, my daughter moved to Florida yesterday and I don't think she's experienced a really bad storm yet, even though she's been there many times before.

Hi Susie,

Thank you for commenting to this storm picture.

Don't worry to much, if we have storms down here it doesn't means that up in Ft. Lauderdale is stormy weather too - or in reverse. This are hundreds of Miles between Key West and there. The mainland experience often different weather than the islands of the Keys, especially we, the last one of all the islands.
