Looking for a Sunset

Evening atmosphere over the marsh

Marsh landscape in a warm evening light

Still a lot of activities going on at Folly beach, but no sunset here at the Atlantic shores

All these kids had a lot of fun jumping the rope

Finally I've seen the setting sun!
It was not that what I was expecting, but it was sort of nice

After waiting longtime for the "REAL" sunset (what I was used to see from Key West, where the most beautiful sunsets are in the world, folks!), the sun decided to set behind the clouds today and left behind a very nice glow over the water.

It was a pretty evening and it was a very different, new experience

My 465. post today - Simple and Easy

A very simple and plain sunset over Key West.
Where is here the "green flash"....?

Green flashes and green rays are rare optical phenomena that occur shortly after sunset or before sunrise, when a green spot is visible for a short period of time above the sun, or a green ray shoots up from the sunset point.

Green flashes can be observed from any altitude (even from the air). They are usually seen at an unobstructed horizon, such as over the ocean, but are possible over cloud-tops and mountain-top as well.

Soon there will be the last Sunset

Soon there will be the last sunset in this year and this is one of them. Golden lights over shiny golden waters.

It was such a peaceful end of the day!
