Who makes us happy.....

Let us be grateful to people who make us happy, they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom.

Hi my friends,

It's long time since my last post, I know...
If you were looking for me, sorry that you couldn't find me here. We had a lot to do recently and it's still going on.
Hoping too for some more relaxing days in the near future. :-))

Wishing you a nice Thursday - and, see you here on Sunday again?
It will be my "wordless Sunday" thing again. You know, you're always very welcome to see and to enjoy that picture with me... :-))

I grow plants for many reasons

Flower pots in the backyard

I grow plants for many reasons: to please my eye or to please my soul, to challenge the elements or to challenge my patience, for novelty or for nostalgia, but mostly for the joy in seeing them grow.
David Hobson
Hi my friends,
Time is running fast! It's already Wednesday or Mittwoch in German language. Let's celebrate "Mittwoch" and I want to say thank you for all the kind comments I got for my chairs photo yesterday with the song of Bryan Adams.
I appreciate every single comment!
Happy to see you visiting again.
Susanne

Your children are growing up....

You know your children are growing up when they stop asking you where they came from and refuse to tell you where they're going.

A colorful Contrast

We have strong and cool north winds just now over the island, long jeans and warmer shirts and even warm jackets in the evening is what we are wearing now in paradise - and we are so not used too. :-))

I made these photos from my again and again blooming orchid outside in the yard. I think it makes a nice and colorful contrast to the COLD days that we have since yesterday.

I got this plant from my daughter Jeannine in 2005 as a good bye gift on her last day vacation here before she had to fly back to Switzerland. Since then the plant is enjoying me with sweet memories with my daughter - I miss her so much...

Two different Colors

Beside the purple color (see my post from yesterday) I have these yellow orchids also blooming in the same flower pot! Isn't it interesting? I have never seen something like this before...
