Bench Graffiti

Love is the river of life in the world.

"Run Forrest - run!"

Bench graffiti can be a certain type of art, yes.
But can anyone tell me WHY are people really doing this?

Hi Sue:
Glad to here MaryLou is first again! Some grafitti artists are so talented its unbelievable, but I'm with you - don't know why. 15 minutes of fame, maybe?

Hi Sue: You are absolutely right! Now, why didn't I put a couple of fiddles in the background? Alas, my creativity doth flounder. :-}

S-V-H said...

No, no...you are creative, Bill. Don't worry! :)

I agree there can be art in graffiti but have no clue why-- maybe like OregonArtGuy said, 15 min.

(I think California might be the graffiti capitol of the world.)

Who knows 'why'? I think people just like to leave their mark...or they're bored....or they enjoy marking up other people's property? Love how you've collecting the 'evidence'!!!

Cool pics Susanne. We get a lot of graffiti at the mall, all real bad , mostly gangs and kids marking their territory.

Bench grafitti...Having grown up in a very large city, I love it. I don't know why it's done specifically but I think it might have something to do with making the moment as permanent as possible.

So I wonder is Ally and Chris are still together?!

I love these tags, I always wonder who did that, for what reason, I can imagine a full story - it's what I like in photography - telling nices stories...with the light :) In that sense, b_w is easier to work on (it's what I am doing now)...
SwissCharles
btw happy to find you, too :)

Hi Charles,

thanks for your kind comment. Yes, photography is "writing with light" and me too, I like to express my feelings and my thoughts trough this media, it's actually more like a passion!:)
