A very powerful image. The lighting or contrast or shading or whatever it is called in photographer speak, is wonderful.

I love sandy beaches and especially to find tracks on them, this one however is very different because the feet tracks stand up like that, giving a bit of 3D-feeling in the photo. I love that.

The light makes it look like
these foot prints are actually
embossed on the beach.

There is mystery as well. Where did
the person go that made the foot prints.
They just disappear into the dark.

That is a really cool photo, Susanne! The footprints are so distinct and well-molded in the sand, and I like the dramatic color tones, as well!
