October Gold

October's Party

"October gave a party;
The leaves by hundreds came-
The Chestnuts, Oaks, and Maples,
And leaves of every name.
The Sunshine spread a carpet,
And everything was grand,
Miss Weather led the dancing,
Professor Wind the band."

~ George Cooper ~

The poem you chose today is one of my favorites! I've used it myself, in one of my "books."

Don't you just love the GOLDEN glow of October. So warm and rich. You've captured it nicely.

October is definitely a month of Gold. And the poetry you but describes the month well.

And then, of course, I am born in October :-)
