Spanish Moss #3

Spanish Moss

Let go darlin’
I can feel the night wind call
Guess I’d better go
I like you more than half as much
As I love your spanish moss
Spanish moss hangin’ down
Lofty as the southern love we’ve found
Spanish moss
Keeps on followin’ my thoughts around
Georgia pine and ripple wine
Memories of savannah summertime
Spanish moss
Wish you knew what I was sayin’

So I’m rollin’ north thinkin’
Of the way things might have been
If she and I could have changed it all somehow

Spanish moss hangin’ down
Lofty as the sycamore you’ve found
Spanish moss
Keeps on followin’ my thoughts around
Georgia pine and ripple wine
Kisses mixed with moonshine and red clay
Spanish moss
Wish you knew what I was sayin’

So I’m rollin’ north thinkin’
Of the way things might have been
If she and I could have changed it all somehow

Let go darlin’
I can feel the night wind call
The devil take the cost
I like the way your kisses flow and I love your spanish moss

Great pictures, I like the moss and the poem too. Where do you get all these poems from?

Like susanne, I like to visit your blog regularly but I just don't get time to comment every post, so don't worry when I don't seem to be reading - I'm still there!

Cheers,

Hi David,

I'm not expecting any comments, but of course I'm very happy - like everybody is - to see how much people and other photographers estimate and like my photography in their own words.

Thanks for commenting, David!:-)

Susanne, that spanis moss is something else, it is definitely a warmer for the trees when it is cold. Thanks for sharing your beautiful and stunning photography, Anna :)

Thank you Anna,

for your wonderful nice comment. Since I cannot photograph so many palm trees anymore, I'll have now more Spanish Moss pictures, right?

btw. I have more photos of the white peacock...if anyone is interested...:-)

Beautiful, beautiful! When I think of the Lowcountry, one of the first things that comes to mind are the Live Oaks dripping with Spanish Moss.

Yes, the Spanish Moss and the Southern Countries are one picture - also for me. And I love theses trees!

Thanks for commenting, Sandpiper!
