I'll be back soon my friends!

Guess what? We have changed our moving plans!

These pictures are to show you some first impressions from my new home, my new living and working place. A picturesque and very photogenic city with a lot of history, a lot of culture and a lot of love for artists and the arts, ideal place to be in the future for my husband and me. We are very excited to move there! (They were made on one of our previous exploration trips when we were thinking of moving).

Who can recognize this beautiful town?
Write me your guesses in a comment.

I'll be back online as soon as possible, after moving up North 750 Miles and after reinstalling our internet connection...please stay with me in the mean time, don't forget me and write me some comments.
It's very appreciated and THANK you for your loyalty.

It looks most beautiful, Susanne..I look forward to seeing what you can do with your camera in your new home soon! As to what is it's name, I...Well...er...it's not Oldham, England for sure! That narrows the field down a bit, I'll keep wondering for now! You did say Florida? Oh boy, my geography is not what it used to be..

I wish you and your family every happiness in your new home! Take care, moving is stressful.

Hi Mark,

Thanks so much for your kind comment. It's NOT Florida and it's not Oldham, England,:-)) but I can say so far that the influence of the British is/was very big in this town, you can see it everywhere.

Hi Susanne,

Where exactly this is located is a bit difficult to guess for a Belgian. But one thing I know for sure, wherever you go, I know you will be able to picture and show us the real atmosphere of your place.

I wish you a swift and smooth move, a safe trip towards your new place and great start over there.

You brought Key West to me as a jewel on the coast of Florida. I didn't know the place at all, but you changed that.

Looking forward to the your new posts coming from your new home.

Your biggest B&W fan !!!

Hi Luke,
Thanks for commenting.

I understand your concern about guessing this place right. And I promise you to try my best to capture the atmosphere of my new place, so you can feel like being traveling with me.:-)

Hello Silken,
thanks for stopping by and commenting. No, no...it's not THAT far up North. That is way to cold up there for us...more South please. :-)

My guess is... Charleston, SC!

Charleston South Carolina? Just a wild guess! I just saw a show on TV about Charleston today...

Even if I've been travelling quite a lot, I'm not that all familiar with the American continent. It sure looks nice though and actually a bit like an European city - looking forward to get the answer :-)

Hi Sue,
I don't know the US at all being a Canadian gal all my life but it looks wonderful, full of character and lots of fun. I'm looking forward to all the wonderful photos in the future when you are back online. This is all so exciting! :D

Susanne, is it Sarasota, a pure guess? This is beautiful place, beautiful pictures. You said you have changed your moving place, is it still as per pictures? Susanne, wish you all the best at your new home, and cannot wait to see your new photography. Your regular blogger Anna :)

My knowledge of Florida is limited to Orlando, Coca Beach, Pensacola (1 semester of college), and a bus trip from Miami airport to a cruse ship (couldn't see much).
I don't recognize anything related to those places in your pictures. Although there is an area in Orlando that does have the European look.
Hope the move goes smoothly.

Wherever you are going.... I wish I was going with you....

One of the islands in South Caribbean? St Thomas or St Kitts?
