Spring is around the corner

Hi my friends,

thanks for ALL your wonderful comments and good wishes from yesterday - I love you all! Dave is at home and he feels fine. We are happy that everything is (almost) back to normal again.

The picture I have posted today is a symbol for spring time, a time of new beginning in everything, everywhere. Spring time is the most beautiful season of the year - for me.

Yesterday's nice weather tempted many people out of their houses - we too.

Strolling up and down the streets and the small picturesque lanes in Down Town, I found these five remarkable signs of springtime. If it stays this way from now on, the whole city will be a sea of blooming flowers and trees.

I'm so excited to have a seasonal change for once - which I never had in Key West's eternal summer time!

Was ich vermisse auf dieser subtropischen Insel, sind die Berge und die Jahreszeiten. Bei uns bluehen die Baeume das ganze Jahr, das Gras ist gelblich und beinahe verdorrt und keine suesslich duftenden Fruehlingsblumen im Garten. Singen die Voegel schoener und ist das Gras tatsaechlich gruener in der Heimat....?
