Christmas Angel

Hi my friends,

As a kid I was counting the days until Christmas eve, inpatient to see all the gifts I would get - Christmas was a wonderful time of my childhood.

Today, Christmas is nothing more than a big competition in commerce, a hype rush of advertisers, pushed from the media and all the profit makers. We lost that innocent spirit what we all know from our child days. I wish it back for me and for you too!

Today is the first Advent Sunday and soon it will be Christmas again. This angel figure was found in the Key West cemetary which is a very special place for photographic subjects. I'll tell you why later as more pictures from here will follow.

Heute am 1. Adventssonntag bringe ich dieses Foto eines Engels, der ja in der Bibel die frohe Botschaft verkuendete. Fotografiert habe ich den Engel auf dem Friedhof in Key West, welcher ein ganz spezieller Platz ist fuer Fotografen. Ich werde das "Warum" beantworten in weiteren, folgenden Bildern.
