Captured in Columbia, South Carolina
October
October's
the month
When the smallest breeze
Gives us a shower
Of
autumn leaves.
Bonfires and pumpkins,
Leaves sailing down
-
October is red
And golden and brown.
October
leaves are lovely
They rustle when I run
Sometimes I make a
heap
And jump in them for fun.
Autumn
leaves float quietly down
And
form a carpet on the ground.
But
when those leaves are stepped upon,
Listen
for the crackling sound.
I'm wishing you all a HAPPY SUNDAY - enjoy fall and take your camera with you!

Great capture. Love the colors. Here in Texas, we don't get to see the change in color. The trees here either stay green or turn brown. No reds. :( Have a great Fall.
Thanks so much for the comment, G.C. Here in FL where I'm living, I'm missing out also all those beautiful colors of fall. This picture was made in South Carolina, one year ago :-))
Fantastic capture, Suzanne. I love your photos! Greetings from Montreal, Canada.
Thank you so much, dear Linda - happily appreciated your kind comment.
Greetings back to you from Florida!
Susanne :-)
