Hi my friends,
This is now my first attempt to photograph the moon. It was yesterday at the beach - and it was a very special and beautiful moon. I had to wait quit a while until I saw him BIG and orange, rising from the horizon over the Atlantic Ocean. It was a great experience!
I know, these are not the best pictures at all, but as I told you, it was my first try.
I'm not sure if I will ever get an expert in photographing the moon, the stars or the universe...LOL...
Check out Bob Johnson's facebook page
he IS the expert and the master on his blog in these kind of photography and ask him, why this moon has such an interesting name like " The Hungry Ghost Full Moon".
I don't know the reason why :))
Thank you for all your kind comments to my wordless Sunday photo yesterday, my friends.
I wish you a wonderful week ahead.
Susanne

Hi Susanne. I am not into photography but I love to look at great pictures especially with nature and animals. From an inexperience me, I must say for your first try those pictures are absolutely genius. Very mysterious as if there's a story behind it. Anyway, best wishes to you.
Moon in Sea is as much frightening as bewildering.
Oh, what a nice compliment, thank you so much for that, inforhub. Very much appreciated :))
I can not fully understand your comment, Dr. Panda - but thank you for stopping by and taking your time looking to my post! :)
Susanne-don't underestimate yourself. These are wonderful. They capture so vividly the moon's solitary majesty.
"And who has seen the moon, who has not seen her/ Rise out of the deep, grand and flushed and naked."
Thank you very much, my dear friend Marty! And thank you also for your aphorism about the rising moon.:)
Great work, I have yet to do moon photography, but your images are inspiring.
Lou
