Camellia blossom in December
I have visited yesterday Boone Hall Plantation out side of Charleston. It was a lovely and 78F warm December afternoon, no jackets were necessary and wearing sandals again on my feet. It felt more like a nice day late in May and never ever December the 17th. There were still some Camellia trees with beautiful blossoms, small Azalea bushes with flowers on and tea roses with such a sweet smell, you could not miss them.
More photos about Boone Hall Plantation will come - stay tuned.

Oh my goodness. What a beautiful Camilla blossom. It's so rainy and dreary here. This was a wonderful and fresh sight!
Oh so pretty. I love camellias.
I know, it's not fair to come up with almost summer pictures, right..Sue? Other people are covered with snow this time...and we have so warm temperatures. :)
Thanks for the visit!
Thanks Tricia for your kind comment. I love them too.. :)
Oh my goodness still blooming. just shows how the seasons & climate is changing. lovely images
Hi Carol,
thanks for visiting my post. We have here in Charleston never snow...or maybe only for a day or two...that's very nice on the one side and on the other I would love to see and feel snow again :)
It's so wonderful to see beautiful blooms when it's so miserable here. Gorgeous photography, Sue!

Thank you so much Michele for your kind compliment.:)
Love the Camilla Tree, and 78f, I should be so lucky, lol, beautiful houses and decorations.
Thanks Bob! You have beautiful sky scenes what we don't have down here!
Wow. How beautiful! And it make me long so much for spring! We're having a very gray and rainy fall and winter over here. So dull weather that we wanna stay indoors all the time.... Not much opportunities for photo shooting.
Thank you Lifecruiser
for your visit and for the kind comment. Snow photos can be made too, of course, if your camera can stand the freezing cold :)
