Looking for a Sunset

Evening atmosphere over the marsh

Marsh landscape in a warm evening light

Still a lot of activities going on at Folly beach, but no sunset here at the Atlantic shores

All these kids had a lot of fun jumping the rope

Finally I've seen the setting sun!
It was not that what I was expecting, but it was sort of nice

After waiting longtime for the "REAL" sunset (what I was used to see from Key West, where the most beautiful sunsets are in the world, folks!), the sun decided to set behind the clouds today and left behind a very nice glow over the water.

It was a pretty evening and it was a very different, new experience
!

Water always gives the impression of wideness. So does the desert. I love looking at "water" pictures. And I love looking at "desert" pictures.

I love desert pictures too and I loved to do photos in Dubai and Oman, when I was traveling those countries.

Thanks for your interesting comment, Peter!

I can never tire of water photos. I always feel a spiritual commection to nature. The gently lapping of the water on a lake or the rolling of the tides in an ocean always seem to touch an inner spark. :o)

I think these sunsets are beautiful! We have so many mountains that I rarely get to see a really nice sunset... you did a very nice job of capturing it!!
