BIG Brother

BIG brother is waiting in the harbor at Port Canaveral, FL

Hi my friends,
What a difference in the sizes between these two "boats", right?
Have you ever dreamed about making a Cruise with a BIG boat like this?  :)
Thank you very much for all the nice comments from yesterdays post.
Have a wonderful day!

  1. My father used to paint air-craft carriers, so I've been on a few. I don't think anyone realizes how big they are until you actually stand near one. Your photo does a great job of suggesting how enormous these boats are.

  2. Your father was an artist, Marty? That's very nice! And what about you?? :)

Thanks for your kind comment to my post - and you're so right about the size of those cruisers.

  3. I'd like to go one day except that I worry about when they do the Titanic on you.lol and the pirate scene isn't something to look forward to.
And then the air born sicknesses like legionair's . I'd have to have a balcony for sure and then I'd go aboard with my own blow up boat, food and water supplies and of course life preservers and of course if its winter we're talking about, then you'd need a winter body suit. lol
    Crazy???? Yup.
Guess I will never go lol

But all kiddin aside I sure would like to one day. It would be so nice to sit by the pool and breath salty air.:)

  5. Loved this photo because it brought back happy memories of when I surprised my hubby for our 25th anniversary by taking him on a cruise!

  7. Never been on a cruise ship but I had been inside a container ship, where my father used to work once. Not sure if it was as big but it definitely not as glamourous as the cruise ship. LOL.

  9. Great shot, nice to see the difference. I prefer the small boat, more freedom and more flexibility to move around.

  11. Hi Susanne,

Thank you for sharing your wonderful photograph of that grand ship. I've never heard of BIG Brother except when referring to the US government.

I sure would like to talk shop with you. I need some photo advice. Is there a way to contact you?
