Well, it looks like you are doing a documentary of my life. First Branson, and now Amarillo, which I called home back in the 80's.
I hope you tried the calf fries while you and your husband were at the Big Texan. They are absolutely delicious if you can get past what they really are.
While in the area, pay a visit to Stanley Marsh's Cadillac Ranch. It's hard to miss if you are going west out of Amarillo on I-40.
