Let's play again...








I was playing again with textures....

We all know that weddings are very enjoyable events for all participants, for the wedding couple, for the guests AND also for the hard working photographer, I had a thought to play with textures on some wedding photos I made. I have chosen a texture of a sheet of music, because it matches so well happiness and the loving ambiance
of a wedding day.



This last photo is a self portrait of an older lady, like me... :) I think the chosen texture overlay is perfect to hide
unwanted wrinkles in a women face....LOL...

    I'm so pleased that you are continuing to experiment with textures. Of this group, #2 and #4 are my favorites.

    Remember, you can play with the "eraser" tool and gently remove some of the texture layer to make the texture more subtle in places. That's fun to explore as well. I start with a fairly low opacity to make the changes subtle and keep playing. It's a little like painting......

    I really like the music over the photos. I especially like the first one. To me the monotone seems to work better with the music overlay. The last picture reminds me of a photo of a rock star from the psychedelic era.

    yes, if you have time in the near future to play with the computer - and not with your little sunshine - then you should really give a try to this texture "thing". It's big fun and attention! it can make you addicted too...LOL... :)

    loved the idea, all the photos are great! just one thought - i think the music layer in the third is too "strong", try to add some transparency to it
