Slamming Doors...

Just the other day, it seems, the kids were running through the house, slamming doors, breaking glass, making noise. Time goes by so quickly. Sometimes everything seems so fleeting.

  2. Yes, it gets quiet very quickly after the kids grow up and leave home. I guess that's why we enjoy grandchildren so much.

Cute interpretation of an autumn door decoration. You seem to notice interesting "things" around your city. I may have to go for a personal photo walk and see what I can discover around our city.

  6. Hi Marie,

Here in Charleston people have wreaths hanging all around the year at the doors. It was new for me too!

  8. Hi Pete,

Nice to see you again around my blog. Thanks for commenting. That is "Sweet Grass" and dried corn. The basket weaver in the South, to 99% black people do this crafting, are using sweet grass for their work. Sweet grass is growing here everywhere.
