Stunning Sue!! I love the last one
ReplyDeleteThanks Jenty! Thanks for visiting my blog.
ReplyDeleteI am always wondering how you deal with the storm threats down South. Do you just hide out at home when it gets bad?
ReplyDeleteHi Maya,
ReplyDeletethanks for your comment.
We are always very well informed here on TV and the storm authorities they are giving out mandatory evacuations. First for all the tourists and then for residents, if it's necessary to go. Then, you have to pack your most important "stuff" (like important papers etc..) and go, hit the road up North. In the Motels/Hotels you have to watch where the storm is developing and choose that way your to your next destinations. You can also go in those official offered shelters, following the evacuation route signs, if you like.
We were always using the opportunity to change the word "evacuation" into a "nature forced vacation" and visited a lot of nice places on the road :-)
In the end you are hoping to get back home soon and were hoping too that there will be not too much damage.
No that was some great shots Sue!! Love storms on the sea..!!
ReplyDeleteI knew it you will like these photos. Thanks for visiting and for your compliment, Rick!
ReplyDeletewow great storm clouds. I know storms can cause a lot of damage but they also fascinate me to Sue. I've always wanted to go on a tornado chase. Maybe if i'd faced it I would think again but it looks and sounds exciting. Lightening storms especially give me goosebumps i love them.
ReplyDeleteYes storm clouds together with the water of the sea is strong power of mother nature - and you can feel it!
ReplyDeleteIt's very fascinating, I love it too, Carol!
Thanks for commenting.
I really like your photos!Hope you stay safe from that storm =)
ReplyDeleteHi Stanley,

ReplyDeleteThanks Bob! I'm glad you liked the ambiance.
ReplyDeleteWow!!! Those are some ominous clouds. What a dramatic effect they have coming up from the ocean.
ReplyDeleteThanks Tawnyia

ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting my blog and for your kind comment, faces of borneo!
ReplyDeleteThat is a mean looking storm Susanne. And of course only surfers and wind surfers are mad enough to go out in that weather.
ReplyDeleteI have also been enjoying your other photos.
Thank you Max-e,
ReplyDeletefor stopping by and for your kind comment. Yep, that storm brought us a lot of rain too. Today the sun is back again.:-)
Susanne, scary, but amazing. Anna :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Anna!
ReplyDeleteThat was storm "Fay" and now we are waiting for "Hanna", she should make landfall on Friday in Savannah, maybe 100 miles from here.... it's not what we need up here! But we have enough Hurricane experience by now from Key West...LOL...what's up..? :-)
Gosh those were pretty dark clouds. Sorta like what they had in Ontario before the wind almost tossed my 5000 ton plus fully loaded car.
ReplyDeleteThese clouds are not to joke with.
