Yes, we have more than palm trees...














We have also the best sunsets in the world - the tourist guides are writing that, not me!

And for the most, I like the pictures after sunset when the whole sky turns into a deep red, purple or gold. It looks like fire in the sky.

    Those are absolutely gorgeous. I love nature photos. Here in the deep south we have some wonderful sunsets.When I lived in Nevada the desert has some really startling sunsets. All that wide open space. I love it! :o)

    I have visited the Silver State some years ago and made out there in the desert, by the red rocks, some great sunset shots too. I loved to be there to see and to feel that open wide, magical places!

    Wow, you blew me away with these, for second I thought I was on Bob's blog (Blackholes & Astrostuff) and looking at the sun photo, but then, I am still saying wow, I wish I could capture something like that here, or even experience something like this - no chance. Very well done, Anna :)

    I made you speechless for a while...smile..glad you liked these series of sunset skies. It has to do something with the angle of the setting sun down here, that's why we can have such fantastic colored clouds long after the sun is "gone".

    Oh my, the skies are gorgeous! We just don't get skies like that because of all the mountains that surround us so I am simply amazed when I see pictures like this... you capture them just perfectly!
