Stroll down Elizabeth Street to see all the cute Conch houses.....

Visiting the cemetary with all these special grave stones.....

Like this one here.....

And smelling the flowers every where you go. If it's in the "Secret Garden" or

just over the fence.... they are all georgeous! Did you had a relaxing walk?

  1. hi sue,

my understanding is that if you hold a conch house up to your ear you can hear the toilet running.

your photos are fantastic. i take photos with my cell phone but i gotta tell ya, they just don't come out the same! it might be the battery or something.

    great work!

  2. Hi Cranelegs, thank you for your comment. Indeed it's that way, but do you know what? This small, tiny 2 bedroom houses cost over $600'000 or even more! Can you imagine that?

  3. Hi Sue, thanks for your comment on Blogtrotter 90s; left an answer there...
Your pictures are superb: I did everything that you mention on my two visits to the Conch Republic: beach, «blue heaven», southernmost point, Hemingway (cats and fountain...), cemetery (I particularly like the one «I told you I was sick...), flowers... Unfortunately I didn't take photos but rather recorded in video. Shame...

  4. Hi GMG,thank you for this kind comment.I'm glad you enjoyed Key West so much - like I do it here every day.I'm planning to bring now in a daily about "What to do in Key West", to let people know there is much more in Key West to see than just Duval Street and its 35 bars.....
