Door & Gates in Charleston #2

This are only some of all the beautiful and remarkable house doors and gates at King Street and Meeting Street in Charleston.

And believe me, there are many, many more streets and I have photographed many, many more doors and gates. I will show them to you in little series like this over the coming days or weeks.

I hope you'll enjoy it like I did. I could fill a book only with this subject. :-)

  1. Gosh I miss seeing doors like this, just lovely!

I got my fix for doors when we went to Georgetown Washington D.C. a couple of months ago. Now I got another fix coming here and seeing your photos.

  7. Such a neat subject to photograph! It's definitely not something we have around here... the doors are so boring and so this is such a nice treat! Beautiful and these would look so wonderful in the Christmas season all decorated!!
I am looking forward to seeing more!
