Five Signs of Springtime

What a pretty contrast

Magnolia buds everywhere

We call these pretty signs of spring "snow bells"

First Dandelions

Yesterday's nice weather tempted many people out of their houses - we too.

Strolling up and down the streets and the small picturesque lanes in Down Town, I found these five remarkable signs of springtime. If it stays this way from now on, the whole city will be a sea of blooming flowers and trees.

I'm so excited to have a seasonal change for once - which I never had in Key West's eternal summer time!

  1. Oh my, those are beautiful signs of spring... I cannot believe I'm seeing this and I have snow and ice every where and as I speak it is snowing hard. Beautiful pictures Sue... makes me so excited for our change when it happens.

  2. Oh My what an array of beautiful colour. Our trees and shrubs haven't started to turn yet and it's still very stark and bare (at least in the North East of England anyway). Our bulbs such as snowdrops are blooming and crocuses and daffodils are just starting to show now. I look forward to colour and greenery.

  11. Hi Sue, sorry for being a bit late!
The Charleston doors are amazing. Folly beach is a bit intriguing; one day I’ll get there... The light and shadows and the Spanish moss pictures are wonderful. UBS ok; you seem to be close to home now... ;) And Spring signals seem to start showing in South Carolina. Except for one rainy (flooded day), don’t feel we had winter here in Lisbon...
    Have a great week!
